First of all, our apologies
as our webmaster has not had a
chance to keep this page updated
for all the new CMINET customers,
like she had originally planned
to do. We have been busy
getting upgrades to the network
done as well as running the rest
of our network and all the business
aspects that goes to that- that
the webpage has gotten a little
neglected this summer for updates.
(Angela is sorry about that!).
Rebeltec's
5G Wireless is up and ready to
go for those customers who connect
to the towers/locations in Wiley
and Lamar. When
the August Statements (dated 7/27/13)
were mailed, we put notices in
those that we thought possibly
could connect to the new 5G network.
Due to the way the network was
designed and that the towns are
so close together, we've found
that people with Holly & Wiley
addresses actually connect to
Lamar. If you are interested in
upgrading your current service
to our 5G network, give us a call
and we'll come and do a FREE Site
Survey to determine signal quality
and install the same day if signal
is high enough to guarantee service.
Normal install is $99, but for
all current customers - the install
is ONLY $50! More communities
are coming very soon and we'll
send you a notice once it is ready,
otherwise, call the office to
get put first on the list.
As always, if you have any questions
or need help with anything, please
give us a ring - we're here to
help! |

We have been crazy busy in the
office working to get all the
new customers into our billing
program and getting to meet lots
of you on the phone. Our technicians
have been spending a lot of time
on the southern network and getting
some problems areas resolved and
some major upgrades done. We are
making lots of progress. We truly
appreciate everyone's patience
as we've gotten these upgrades
done. We have worked hard to minimize
any downtime for customers. I
believe that the "core"
of the network is mostly all upgraded
or very close to being done. |
WEBMAIL
- for all customers who
were using mail2web.com for their
webmail - give ours a try. It's
the link on the homepage to "New
Webmail" - just login with
your @cminet.net e-mail address
and password. |

May
7, 2013 Update |
Thank
you all SOO much for your patience
so far! |
We have been crazy busy in the
office trying to go through files
and gather everyone's information
in order to get it into our billing
program before the end of the
month. It has been a big job,
but we want to make sure that
we have all the info that we need
for each and every account to
be able to better service you
should you need to call for any
technical support. Not to mention
so that we know where everyone
is at and which Access Point you
connect to. |
Our technicans were able to get
their hands on the network on
Wednesday, May 1st. There is a
lot more work to be done than
we originally anticipated or expected
as the network needs lots of upgrades
and some repairs. This is a BIG
job and a large network to undertake,
so please understand that it's
going to take some time to get
it all working up to our "Rebeltec
Standards." |
We are currently working on upgrading
the "core" of the network
so that it can handle the large
bandwidth requirements that we
need for the network. From there,
we will be reaching out towards
the ends of each side of the network
to work on upgrading them. Again,
this is a big project and there
is a lot of physical work that
has to go into it as far as new
equipment at each location as
well as a lot of tower climbing
for our network technicians. This
can't all be done overnight or
within a few weeks, it's going
to take a few months+ to get it
entirely completed. As we get
the core network upgraded, we
should be able to increase bandwidth
limits by the end of this month. |
If you have any questions, please
feel free to direct them to the
office. |
E-mail
Services |
From what we understand, the majority
of CMINet customers who use webmail
for their e-mail versus an e-mail
client (where the e-mail is actually
downloaded to your computer using
a program like Outlook Express,
Windows Mail, etc) are using mail2web.com.
We have a webmail program that
I think you'll really enjoy and
be able to better utilize it's
features more than what mail2web.com
has to offer. Mail2web.com is
actually just a third party webmail
program that "reads"
off of any POP3 mail server. With
mail2web.com you can't have an
address book or folders to archive
your messages should you wish
to do so. If you like mail2web.com
- continue to use it. It's whatever
works best for you, just wanted
to let customers know where is
another option if they wished
to use it. For the time being....go
here to log into the CMINET
Webmail (accept the certificate
and proceed -to the roundcube
login page. You'll have to put
in your entire @cminet.net e-mail
address and password). After Monday
or Tuesday - the login will also
become available on Rebeltec's
homepage when we move our mail
server to the new server. |
